Sweet & Sour Fakeaway 🤤 episode 12 of Easy Dinners You’ll Actually Make! This is super tasty, much healthier and ready in around 15 minutes! Serves 4: ▪️ 1 red pepper ▪️ 1 green pepper ▪️ 1 red onion ▪️ 280g firm tofu ▪️ glug oil ▪️ 435g tin of pineapple ▪️ 2 tbsp cider vinegar ▪️ 2 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce if not gluten-free) ▪️ 1 garlic clove, crushed ▪️ 1 tbsp corn flour ▪️Serve with rice or noodles 1️⃣ Firstly, slice the peppers into squares, roughly slice the red onion and chop the tofu into cubes. 2️⃣ Heat a non stick pan/wok with oil and add in the veg + tofu and fry for a few minutes 3️⃣ Meanwhile, make the sweet & sour sauce by adding vinegar + tamari + tinned pineapple (with all the juice) + garlic + corn flour and mix together 4️⃣ Finally pour the sauce into the tofu and cook until the sauce thickens (5 minutes). Serve over cooked rice or noodles!
