Let’s lead with the most important part - the size of your glutes does not determine your overall level of health and fitness, and you should never be judged on any particular part of your body. I rarely have aesthetic goals and I focus much more of my attention on strength and athleticism. But…I have always wanted to get to at least plum status 😂 I sort of stumbled upon some glute growth by accident as I had to take a break from squats and deadlifts and started using hip thrusts as more of a main lift. The results were eye opening in terms of the effectiveness of the hip thrust for glute hypertrophy, and now that I’ve spend some dedicated time on them, I’ve been able to carry over that mind-muscle connection to my other lower body lifts!
