Let me break it down for you my loves so you don’t make the same mistakes I did. 〰️ Cutting calories & under eating is what trains your body to burn less. This also results in loss of muscle mass making your metabolism slower. 〰️ Under feeding your body also causes imbalances in hormones making weight gain extremely easy. 〰️ Doing only cardio isn’t a BAD thing but it’s something that eventually doesn’t help in the long run like weight training will as your body learns to adapt to the calories being burned from it. Again, results in loss of muscle mass = slower metabolism. 〰️ Cutting food groups when it’s unnecessary is what leads to feeling restricted and once restricted you tend to fall into binge eating habits. It’s unrealistic to stick with! 〰️ Making temporary adjustments is what doesn’t teach us anything for the long run and again places us in a bad position to gain the weight back + some. All these cycles I feel into year after year is WHY my 10lbs I had to lose eventually turned into 120lbs to lose. An entire lifetime of wanting to lose the weight and never being able to fully commit finally reached it’s breaking point… I know when I started this time I only had one option and that was to just keep going. No matter what I wasn’t going to quit and I damn sure was never going to look back. So for the first time in my life I stayed with it, I pushed when I wasn’t “seeing results”, I gave myself many breaks and “cheat meals” and found myself actually creating something that looked like a lifestyle change vs a temporary change. 01:07Would you eat this Crispy Chipotle Shrimp knowing it’s this quick and easy?!?! ✨🍤 These shrimp alone are amazing... adding the garlic naan and homemade, higher-protein chipotle “aioli” just makes the dish even BETTER! 🍤Macros (just shrimp): 327 calories | 34g P | 45g C | 1.5g F 🥯Macros (shrimp wrap w/ aioli): 655 calories | 48.6g P | 92g C | 11g F 🍤Crispy chipotle shrimp: •130g shrimp, tailless •2/3 cup (30g) cornflakes, finely crushed •20g egg whites (or 1/2 egg) •salt, pepper (to taste), 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp oregano flakes, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp cumin 🍯Sticky chipotle honey garlic sauce: •1 clove garlic, minced •1 tbsp (15g) low sodium broth •1/2 tbsp Frank’s red hot sauce •1 tbsp (12g) honey •1/2 tbsp (7g) Thai red chilli sauce •1/4 tsp garlic powder •1/4 tsp chilli powder 🥫Chipotle “aioli”: •4 tbsp Greek yogurt •1 tbsp low fat mayonnaise •1-2 tsp Frank’s red hot sauce salt, pepper, chilli powder, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (to taste) ✨Mix sauce ingredients and set aside.
