Instead of focusing on counting calories, I focused on tracking protein which helped me make better choices and stay in a caloric deficit without the anxiety of worrying about numbers. 2. A lot of the times I was losing weight, but it was hard to tell because of the bloating. 3. Working out five days a week doing exercises that I like. It’s hard to be consistent with working out if you don’t enjoy it. So I like to do a mix of cardio and minimal weightlifting just to keep my body toned because I’m not trying to gain muscle. 4. Incorporating cheat meals and not restricting myself to where I cannot enjoy eating.
