I feel like ima keep talking about it until we truly get it. Loving yourself is an essential ingredient to your healing. ❤️❤️ They will teach you that you were born flawed. They will teach you that you aren’t worthy. They will teach you to look for love from everywhere outside of you. Don’t believe the hype 😭. The power is within you. You were made FROM LOVE FOR LOVE. 3 things I did to learn to love myself (when I didn’t think I had the ability to) 1. Surrounded myself around people who loved themselves through action. Find people who don’t just talk about “loving themselves” but actually show that they love themselves by having healthy boundaries. People who have elevated view points of who they are and understand their identity. People who aren’t easily influenced or entangled in situations that are harmful to them. And ultimately people who HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE TO YOU. Find the ones who make you uncomfortable in being inauthentic and empower you to see you and accept you. 2. Explore you. Spend time with you. Get to know yourself in the ways you wish someone would get to know you. Take the expectation off others to pursue you…and start pursuing yourself daily. LOVE YOURSELF LIKE SOMEONE YOU LOVE 3. Boundaries. Boundaries. Boundaries. Set boundaries for those unhealthy habits you know you need to break. Set boundaries around those people in your life who love the “lower version” of you and set boundaries around your THINKING 😭. It’s cliche but you really are what you think.
