Corn Beef Made In the Dutch Oven On The Smoker, Save for the recipe below! #rightwaybbq #rightwaybbqseasonings #midnightkick #stpatricksday #cornbeef #cornbeefandcabbage #blarneystone #dutchoven #campchef @campchef Ingredients: - 4-5 pounds corned beef brisket (Flat has the most meat) - 1 onion quartered - 4 cloves garlic, minced - 3-6 carrots, peeled and chopped - 10-16 baby potatoes - 1 head of cabbage - 4 cups beef broth or untill it covers most of the brisket - 1 can/bottle of guinness beer Optional (Seasonings Midnight kick bbq rub) Instructions: 1. Rinse the corned beef under cold water and pat it dry. 2. Heat your Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the corned beef on all sides until browned. 3. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the pot. 4. Pour in the beef broth, and add mustard seeds, peppercorns, and the bay leaf. (optional if you dont use the midnight kick) 5. Place the corned beef back into the pot, fat side up. Bring the liquid to a simmer. 6. Add the chopped carrots and baby potatoes to the pot. 7. Cover the Dutch oven and transfer it to a preheated oven/smoker at 325°F (163°C). Cook for about 3 to 5 hours or until the meat is tender. Internal should be 200-205. 8. Finally, add the sliced cabbage to the pot and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. 9. Serve and enjoy!
