The better for you verison is made with 100% pure avocado oil instead of palm oil, has 40% less sugar than the leading brand and hazelnuts is the first ingredient. #ChosenPartner @Chosen Foods Ingredients: 1 package store-bought pie crust (2 crusts) 3/4 cup Chosen Foods NEW Chocolate Hazelnut Spread 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash) Powdered Sugar (for dusting) Icing: 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tbsp milk 1 tbsp butter (melted) 2 tbsp Chosen Foods NEW Chocolate Hazelnut Spread Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Allow the store-bought pie crust to come to room temperature. Unroll and place on a floured surface.Cut the pie crusts into equal rectangles. Transfer half the rectangles to the baking sheet pan with parchment paper. 3. Add Chosen Foods NEW Chocolate Hazelnut Spread on the rectangle piece of pie crust, then top with another rectangle and seal.Use a fork to crimp the edges for sealing. Poke holes and brush each pastry with egg wash. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. 4. While the pop tarts are baking, mix together the icing. Add the melted butter and milk together and mix. Next add in the hazelnut spread and mix until combined with the liquid. Slowly add in the powdered sugar and whisk until it becomes an icing consistency.
