You’d be surprised how often I (and I’m sure many female trainers and lifters can attest to this too), hear from new potential clients things like, “I just don’t want to get too bulky” “I only want to train my lower body because I don’t want my upper body to look masculine” The issue here isn’t the about personal preference or desire. It’s about understanding how lifting weights work. It takes years of work and a lot of eating to gain massive amounts of muscle. You’re not going to get as buff as a male bodybuilder from a few weeks of training your upper body.
