So next time when you’re comparing yourself and most likely feel not better about yourself when seeing lean influencer, that’s not the whole truth. The hardest part for me was to accept the truth that there is not one approach that works for everyone. We all have different experiences, situations in life and also different priorities. For me fitness and my own health is pretty high priority and I learned in a hard way that I must ruthlessly prioritize it or I will lose it. For me my health has become more important than achieving body composition goals. I rather have a bit more body fat and allow myself to be more flexible and also enjoy life. Having visible abs was my goal in my 20s but now I could not care less. Because I know what it takes to reach that goal and it simply isn’t worth of all sacrifices at the moment. I am all about health and adding things rather than taking things away. Simply because for me it’s a lot more easier to add things that help you to improve your health. If you rather take your advice from someone who is leaner, I get you. This is not airport where you need to announce when you’re leaving. Stop eating less food for weight loss ❌ I know this sounds a bit controversial.. But if you always try to eat as little as possible when trying to lose weight, it will never be sustainable. Yes you need a calorie deficit to lose fat but the goal should be to eat as much food as possible within your calorie goals. Not how little you can eat to lose weight as rapidly as possible. Because if you try it that way, you are only racing against how long you will last this time. To make things 1000x easier eating more things like veggies, fruits, lean protein sources and carbs that aren’t combined with a ton of fats. All one ingredient carbs like potatoes or rice are great examples..
