These three videos are:Mold but make it ✨art✨ Script edit : "silence is destroyed when *noise* begins." it has been correctly pointed out that silence is a part of music. To make this I took a trash picture frame and sanded and cleaned the surface so that paint would stick to it. then I used an acrylic paint pen to paint it and wiped it away before it fully dried because I wanted to keep the trashy distressed look. then I used B-7000 glue to attach the rhinestones and pearls and spikes , about half of which came from various thrift shops and all of the rest of the supplies were left over from various other art projects over the years. next up for the felted piece I took normal craft felt and felted it (balled up a few different colors of felt and then punched them with a specific needle a whole bunch of times which basically tangles them all together and secures them down in place) . I did several different balls all felted on there so I could make an interesting texture then once I had the base layer down I went in with two colors of blue wool and specifically laid those in and then laid just a little bit of light tan felt on top to soften everything. then, I sewed a bunch of glass beads on to give it even more dimension and depth( also it's shiny ✨). The piece of felt goes in the frame just like anything else would. and bing bang boom. now I have some shiny pink moldy art. boo yeah . (also on the technique side I purposely made the frame oppressively shiny so that under most lighting conditions you don't really want to look at it too closely which forces your eye to look into the dark beading on the felt mold Or just avoid the art piece entirely.) #art #artist #makingart

01:00Making plastic yarn the one long strand way! ✂️🧶 Quick little video while I'm working on a WIP that is taking way longer than expected (it's 4 panels) ! I originally was taught the method from the second half, in order to make continuous piping back when I did theatrical upholstery but I've used it in many applications since! #plasticyarn #craft #art #howto #tip
00:47Faux Dino nuggets! 🦖🍽️🦕 I made both dinos but decided I didn't like how they looked together so the brachiosaurus got kicked off the plate! (Made this project about a year ago and I felt like doing a short edit of it! ) #dinonuggets #art #dino
00:10Replying to @smiti_a1705 This ended up being easier to make than I was expecting though the box it's mounted in ended up more time consuming than I expected so it evened out! I suggest being more mindful than I was about the direction of the connection arms. I goofed 1 or 2 and it makes it sit a little wonky. also epoxy will probably be stronger than super glue but super glue should work for areas you don't expect high stress. #metalribs #howto #howtomake #sodacan #sodacanart #aluminumribs #arttutorial #sodacanribs #sodacanarttutorial
01:01Replying to @gothorella📦 This is a good basic project to test out a lot of the techniques we'll need next time (while using supplies you probably have at your desk!) Any time I learn something new I like to start relatively simple and build from there! Leading us to our soda can ribs project that's coming up next!!! 🩻 The measurements I used were for the *box* it's 3 1/2" square with lines marked : 1/4" , 1 1/4" , 2 1/4" , 3 1/4" the *lid* is 3 3/8" square with lines marked : 9/16" , 1 1/8" , 2 1/4" , 2 13/16" but specifics don't super matter as long as the top lid square (shown green in the vid) is slightly larger than the box
01:00Art supplies from soda cans🥤♻️🩻After all the recycling bin is my favorite craft store 🗑️🥰😜 This is a precursor video to show the basic techniques so we can mostly skip over them in the upcoming project videos! #sodacan #diy #aluminum #art #sodacanart #metalembossing #metalart #aluminumart #sodacandiy #upcycling #upcyclingdiy
01:00Contact your representatives, keep making noise, do what you can. I'll make a how I made this video soon.
01:06More like cereal killer. I love a good bowl of strawberry oats 😋🥣 💀 Trying out landscape mode (sigh) Some commenters say the wildest things in response to seeing something that exists outside of their comfort zone. Sounds like a pretty boring way to live but you do you I suppose. #art #Valentine #valentinesday #heart #skull
01:01With Valentine's Day coming around it's time to grow a new heart I suppose 🫀🖤😜 The human heart stress ball that can't be beat 😜🫀 (little repost while I'm editing this year Valentine's project) I have a how to video on this further back on my page! (It's made with the same method as the squishy brain) #heart #art #squish #squishfoam #heartart #valentines #valentinesday
00:14It is important to remember history and to celebrate the artisans of bygone days however, things are made more precious by the memories created with them and the value they provide to your life rather than by merely existing for longer than that particular commenter has been alive. And insisting that somebody else treasure something because you think it might have some monetary value at some point in the future, is ridiculous and a bit childish. If you would like to create a bowl museum, by all means, that legitimately sounds like a good time and you will have no problem filling those shelves but let artists create with that mass produced piece of porcelain that still has the original price tag on it from 60 years ago in peace (this obviously expands out to more than just bowls). PS: art for art's sake is a use and is valuable, but a thing sitting in an old box forgotten by anyone who might have cared, not so much.
