Also while I make these for my toddler, I know what she can and can’t handle in a bin. Please make sure these bins can be handled by your child (and you are constantly supervising) because there are small parts! This week we have: 1. Cup bowling: Now you can do ANYTHING with these red cups which is why I love this bin. You can stack animals on them, hide animals in them, play bowling or build towers. This is a huge hit and fun for so many ages! 2. Earth day bin- I added green and blue chickpeas and then added a funnel and some cups which is always a win. We then worked on shapes and did a little matching activity! 3. Flower Playdoh- kids can use cutters to make Playdoh flowers and then decorate them with whatever small parts you have! Buttons are a huge hit over here. #sensoryplayideas #asmrsounds #asmr #toddlersoftiktok #toddleractivities ; It’s week 22 of our toddler activity bins and they’re all H themed for our alphabet adventures! This week was a mixed bag and we might even have our first bin fail LOL. Also while I make these for my toddler, I know what she can and can’t handle in a bin. Please make sure these bins can be handled by your child (and you are constantly supervising) because there are small parts! This week we have: 1. Build a Hamburger- This idea was inspired by a build a burger toy we had at a restaurant where she loved following the little cards to make her own burger. This week she loved the felt, she loved making the play food, she did not want to follow the cards. That’s totally ok and you can use them as a way to play restaurant with your toddler or siblings can join in too! 2. Hot Cocoa Bin- you can use ANYTHING for the base as long as it’s kind of brown. Traditionally you use Cocoa Puffs but I didn’t feel like buying a bag just for this activity, so I found some old beans that worked. Honestly kids just love scooping and pouring into cups. No idea why, its just magical for some kids. 3. Hair Salon- I provided different items for my toddler to use to make hair but uh she said NOPE and only liked this bin when I let her cut the yarn herself. You can totally let your kiddos have a cutting bin and cut the fillers to make their own hairstyles but my toddler is a little TOO small for independent scissor use so this bin will go in the “couple of years” pile. #toddlers #toddlersensory #toddleractivities #toddleractivity #toddlerdevelopment #finemotorskills #finemotoractivity #sensoryplay #sensoryplayideas #sensory #dollartreediy #asmr #asmrvideo #alphabetchallenge ; The water pump is a game changer! #sensoryplayideas #sensoryactivities #watertable #ideasforkids #outdoorlife #hotwheels

Listen- as an influencer, sometimes we share things because we think it’s cool AND we have affiliate links which are always nice. Other times we get paid by brands to share things. This…this I’m sharing for no reason other than I’m a parent who is always looking for cool things for her kids and this grill and splash play center from step2 was a HUGE hit. I bought it from @Costco Wholesale and I got it online because my store just doesn’t have it- so if you’re a Costco member check online for it! Cost: $200 Features: sink area with buckets and a rainfall dish rack, grill center with hot dogs, hamburgers, steak and corn. The hot dog and hamburgers can be taken apart and built and you can add different condiments to your hotdogs. Finally there’s a little garden area with 4 pots and 4 vegetables plus a shovel and rake. Overall I think it’s a great bang for your buck and it was well loved by both my 2& 5 year old! #costcofinds #costcotiktok #costcobuys #step2 #summermusthaves #newtoy

01:05Everything you’ll need to dye sensory play is here and if you haven’t noticed there’s really 3 main ways you can dye sensory items- it honestly depends on what you have, your comfort level and whether you need something taste safe. The 3 methods (from taste safe to not) are: - Food coloring + 1 tsp vinegar (or lemon juice) per 1 cup of base - Liquid watercoloring - Acrylic Paint Dyeing items: 1. Rice: my two favorite methods are food coloring and liquid watercolor. I find paint makes rice clumpy and tends to flake off so it’s my least favorite way to dye sensory bases. Dyeing rice with food coloring takes about 20 minutes to dry. 2. Beans: I have seen people dye these with food coloring but it always makes the shells of my beans like shrivel up so I stick to acrylic paint if I need to dye them. I find it lets me use brighter and more fun colors and I’m not concerned about making this base taste safe since beans cannot be ingested! If your kids are still mouthing, please don’t use beans as a sensory base. Dyeing beans with paint takes about 1-2 hours to dry. 3. Pasta: You can use paint with pasta but I tend to stick with food coloring or liquid watercolor because it’s simple and if I use food coloring the pasta is still taste safe. Dyed pasta takes 1-2 hours to dry on a tray. 4. Chickpeas: Again you can use paint, liquid watercolor, or food coloring. It’s a personal preference and one you can’t go wrong with. If you use food coloring just be ready for the chickpeas to not be completely coated since they have so many grooves! Takes about 1-3 hours to dry since you use so much food coloring. 5. Oats: Mix liquid watercolor with some water just enough to help the color spread into the oats. I dry these overnight so I can be sure they’re dry and I can store them without worry of them getting moldy! #sensoryactivities #sensoryplayideas #sensory #diy #sensoryplay #toddlermom
00:50It’s week 5 of my series scratch vs store where I make popular store-bought snacks at home and see if it’s actually worth it. This week we’re going all out and making home made Cinnamon Toast Crunch and…I might never buy it from the store again because these are 100% worth it. These are quick and easy- all you need is: Cereal: -all purpose flour (2.5 cups) -salted butter (1 cup- cut into cubes) -cinnamon (1/2 tsp) -water (1/2 cup cold water) -vanilla extract (2 tsp) Topping: -melted butter (2 tablespoons) -cinnamon (1 Tbs) -sugar (1/2 cup) 1. Preheat oven to 350 F 2. Add flour, butter and cinnamon to a food processor. Pulse until pea sized crumbs start to form. 3. Add water and vanilla and pulse until a ball forms. 4. Turn your dough out onto a floured surface, and cut it into fourths. 5. Work with your first piece and roll it flat, as thin as you can, then transfer it to a sheet of parchment paper. 6. Make your topping by mixing your cinnamon and sugar together and set aside 7. Melt butter and brush it onto your flattened dough, then sprinkle on your cinnamon sugar. 8. Cut the dough into 1/2 inch squares and transfer the parchment paper to a baking sheet. Separate your squares out and bake at 350 for 12 minutes 9. Repeat with the rest of your dough pieces! 10. Let it cool completely and store in an airtight container for a week. I’d rate this a 10/ 10 -Ingredients: 10/10 the ingredients are incredibly simple and you should have everything you need in your pantry! -Ease of recipe: 10/10 this was probably one of the easiest recipes to make where I felt like there was room for error and the dough was just a dream to work with. -Taste: 10/10 the kids asked for seconds which usually doesn’t happen, and I’m pretty sure I ate like 20 of these while filming Overall- These are 100% a make, especially because one recipe should give you a good amount of cereal- I’d probably say you could make a box’s worth of cereal at home with this- more so if you cut the squares smaller lol. #ideasforkids #homemade #cereal #madefromscratch #homemadecereal #foodforkids #kidfood #cookingvideo

00:49If you’re following along with us in the alphabet adventure challenge, the letter H is officially ready and I’m so excited to hear what you think about it! Here’s the breakdown: You have 1-2 weeks to do each letter, honestly dont stress about this part but ideally for each letter you’ll do: - One outing (like H is for hiking) - One activity ( H is for hot wheel water table) - One themed snack (H is for ham and cheese lunchable) I also like to read books that starts with that letter (or watch a movie during our family movie night) You can do one thing, you can do ALL the things- how you go through your own letter is completely up to you and what you have the bandwidth for that week. The letter H pdf is 40 pages, and $5-and also has worksheets and extra activities in case you wanted to do some letter learning too. Plus the series is buy 3 get 1 free! New letters will be officially released every other Thursday (so make sure you’re following me here so you dont miss it) #activitiesforkids #rawmotherhood #ideasforkids #alphabetchallenge #alphabet #momlife #worksheets #playideas #playideasforkids #sensoryplay #sensoryplayideas

01:06Also, just wait until you try to spend 1,000 hours outside: it’ll be the hardest and most rewarding thing you try 🥹. All of the clips are from March where we got almost 74 hours outside. We’re currently sitting at 184 hours total and I feel like this might be our best year yet 🫶🏻. What’s one thing you’d tell a new parent to “just wait” for- good vibes only edition? Comment it below so any new parent can see all the fun they have to look forward to. #1000hoursoutside #playwithlife #parentingtips #momtips #motherhood
00:19This is our favorite water table setup that we do whenever we need a little ✨ space ✨ magic in our lives. You don’t need to do food coloring if you don’t want to, but I think it adds an element of fun to it, you can also add liquid watercolor instead! You can add stars, space toys from @Safari Ltd , pom Poms, googly eyes to make aliens, spaceship bath toys, or bath bombs for fizzy fun! #eclipse #stemforkids #sensory #sensoryplayideas #sensoryactivities #watertable
