Of course if you get some cheap brand with mercury in it (jokes... partially) it's bad for you But those cheap protein powders don't fall in the same category as a high quality whey isolate Here are the good, bad, and ugly of whey And if whey doesn't work for you or you are allergic there is a good plant based protein from a company called garden of life #proteinpowder #nutrition #protein #education #muslim #halal #fitness #weightloss

04:383 Easy Good Deeds to Change Your Life on Laylatul Qadr If I was incorrect in my understanding please correct me with good akhlaq in the comments and lets have some friendly discussion The Prophet ﷺ said "The one who guides to something good will have a reward similar to that of the one who does it, without reducing from his reward at all." - Sahih Muslim, 2674 Do not miss the opportunity Allah gave us to give it all these last 10 nights of Ramadan.
01:14The end of Ramadan comes with many tests Fatigue Loss of momentum with business/work, fitness, or even family time A desire to make the most of these last precious moments Whichever of the above tests Allah has blessed you with... Yes The tests are a blessing They remind us how desperate and powerless we are And how reliant we are upon Allah Only through His will and blessing can we ever be successful and overcome our challenges and obstacles So make lots of deep duas and prayers Improve your character and actions Ask yourself better questions Seek to please Allah Ask Him for help both in this life and the next Do more good deeds and avoid sins + ask for forgiveness to help increase your Imaaan and ask Allah for more blessings in your life May He forgive us all for our sins and shortcomings, help us fix them, and bless us with goodness in this life and the next and protect us from hell, ameen.
03:33Are you sure that your dua is genuinely something that is good for you right now? We might think so in our limited human perspective but Allah has full knowledge of the future and of the unseen And He truly knows whether something is good/right for us Or if the timing should differ Or whether that thing is not good for us at all So just like when kids get unreasonably mad when you say no to something that you as an adult know is not good for them... Don't act like an immature child if Allah has not answered your dua... Reminder for myself first Patience and trust are key May Allah make us amongst those who have tawwakul, sabr, and never give up on our duas and efforts, while also trusting His decree and timing, ameen.
03:13Whatever it takes to boost energy! In Shaa Allah Since we cannot ingest anything during the day the blessing is it forces us to creative and look inward And physical movement is tremendously helpful (+ prayer and dua) Hope this helps Lets finish Ramadan strong In Shaa Allah
00:48Optimize your energy for Ibadah, especially during this final sprint Your physical and psychological energy is one of the best tools to do so Don't miss out on this lever to increase your ibadah via your energy levels Let me know how this workout strategy goes for you In Shaa Allah
01:13To get your duas answered you must patiently persist, esp if they have not been answered yet, And trust that Allah will either answer in this life or the next or avert evil from you similar to it Trust in Allah's divine plan and wisdom There are many hadiths on dua and I recommend you study them in depth to help inspire you to be more patient and to make more dua I will do more posts sharing these hadiths and helping to remind us all, both me and you, to keep patiently persisting in dua and trusting Allah's plan May He keep us all steadfast, perseverant, and not let shaytan scare us and discourage us, ameen. Reasons to make dua Here’s why you should always make dua... and make more and more duas First off, Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever never asks from Allah, He will be angry with him.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3373 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani This is serious, and Allah says in Surah Ghafir Ayat 60 “Your Lord says, ‘Call on Me and I will answer you; those who are too proud to serve Me will enter Hell humiliated.’” Serve Allah and call on Him for success In fact, let me give you hadiths on dua If by the end of this you’re still not motivated to make dua I don’t know what will motivate you :P, make dua that Allah helps you make more dua! Ok bismillah here are the hadiths 1 - Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Nothing is more honorable to Allah Almighty than supplication.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3370 Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Albani 2 - Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Ask Allah for His favor as Allah Almighty loves to be asked. Among the best acts of worship is to patiently wait in expectation of relief.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3571 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Suyuti
03:57Verily, I have come out to tell you about the Night of Decree, but two men were insulting each other. Thus, its knowledge was removed and perhaps it is better for you. Look for it during the seventh, ninth, or fifth night of the last ten nights. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 49, Grade: Sahih According to Islamqa "What the hadiths indicate is that Laylat al-Qadr may be any of the last ten nights, and that it is more likely that one of the odd-numbered nights will be Laylat al-Qadr, and the most likely of these nights is the night of the twenty-seventh, without stating for certain that it is Laylat al-Qadr. The Muslim should be keen to strive hard throughout the last ten nights, following the example of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ... What is prescribed is to strive hard on all the last ten nights, for whoever does that will certainly have caught up with Laylat al-Qadr. And Allah knows best." Whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Decree due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1901, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi So make sure to make the most of the last 10 nights and remember this: The words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “Whoever prays with the imam until he finishes, Allaah will record for him as if he spent the whole night in prayer” were narrated by al-Tirmidhi (806) and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi. What is meant is encouragement not to leave before the prayers are completed, even if there is more than one imam. Let's push hard and finish this month strong In Shaa Allah ! As promised in the video here are some of the best duas: . “Rabbana atina fi`d-dunya hasanah wa fi`l-akhirah hasanah wa qina `adhab An-nar (Our Lord, give us that which is good in this world and that which is good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire),” [Al-Baqarah 2:201] . “Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a`yunin waj`alna lil-muttaqina imama (Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun (the pious))” [Al-Furqan 25:74].
03:02The last 10 nights are here and it’s critical we take advantage of the opportunity we have to make dua Especially in the last 3rd of the night Here are some classic Duas * For Seeking Beneficial Knowledge and Good Deeds: * "Rabbi zidni ‘ilma" (My Lord, increase me in knowledge) * Reference: Qur'an [20:114]. * For Well-being and Righteous Offspring: * "Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyatina qurrata a'yunin wa ij'alna lil-muttaqina imama" (Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous) * Reference: Qur'an [25:74]. * For Forgiveness and Mercy: * "Rabbighfir warham wa anta khayrur-rahimeen" (My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy) * Reference: Qur'an [23:118]. * For Guidance, Piety, Self-restraint, and Prosperity: * "Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adhaban-nar" (Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire) * Reference: Qur'an [2:201]. * For Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Decree): * "Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni" (O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me) * Reference: Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Hadith 3513. Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani. * For Protection from Misguidance and Trials: * "Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah innaka antal Wahhab" (Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower) * Reference: Qur'an [3:8]. * For Reliance on Allah: * "Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel" (Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs) * Reference: Qur'an [3:173]. For the rest of them see my Instagram where I've posted them in the pinned comment of the same video
01:45A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach. It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his spine straight. But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third for drink and one third for his breath. Sunan Ibn Majah 3349 In authentic hadith the Prophet ﷺ tells us not to fill our stomach, yet every Pakistani and Arab auntie tried to force food down your throat and every Pakistani and Arab uncle willfully obliges When did we become a culture of gluttons? A constant theme in Islam is controlling our desires and resisting temptations for the sake of Allah That's what makes the difference between humans and angels and why the righteous humans are even more beloved to Allah The angels worship and obey Allah no matter what because they have no desires The shayateen worship their desires and disobey + transgress against Allah But the human being is created with desires that we must resist and conquer to worship + obey Allah and prioritize our akhira/deen And that's a huge part of what fasting is all about, denying our desires for the sake of Allah Don't ruin that at iftar time... Make discipline>desires, purpose>pleasure, deen>dunya, Islam>culture your mindset in every area You will find discipline and health that you gain from controlling your appetite/diet - benefits your Ibadah and your success in every area of both deen and dunya In Shaa Allah May Allah make us disciplined and successful and help us conquer our desires and always do what we know is right. Ameen!
